NYU School of Social Work offers a Post-Masters Certificate Program in Palliative and End-of-Life Care, and is accepting applications for Fall 2007. Applicants must have an MSW and at least one year of post-masters experience in palliative and end of life care.

Free Palliative Care Educational Materials

A new self study CD-Rom is available for clinicians caring for persons with cancer. The Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care for Oncology (EPEC™-O) Curriculum is divided into 3 plenary sessions, 15 content modules and 2 teaching skills modules. The learner may choose to complete the entire DVD, or only those modules of particular interest, at his/her own pace.

AAHPM Call for Submissions

 The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM), in collaboration with the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA), is hosting its Annual Assembly January 30 - February 2, 2008, in Tampa Bay, FL. AAHPM and HPNA invite the submission of proposals for papers and posters in a specified range of topics. Submissions will be accepted via the AAHPM website until July 16, 2007.
