NYU School of Social Work offers a Post-Masters Certificate Program in Palliative and End-of-Life Care, and is accepting applications for Fall 2007. Applicants must have an MSW and at least one year of post-masters experience in palliative and end of life care.

Free Palliative Care Educational Materials

A new self study CD-Rom is available for clinicians caring for persons with cancer. The Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care for Oncology (EPEC™-O) Curriculum is divided into 3 plenary sessions, 15 content modules and 2 teaching skills modules. The learner may choose to complete the entire DVD, or only those modules of particular interest, at his/her own pace.

Transdisciplinary Palliative Care Courses

The ACE Project is a NCI-funded study that seeks to enhance the advocacy and leadership skills of competitively-selected psychologists, social workers and spiritual care professionals through an innovative transdisciplinary educational experience. Four annual courses will be held followed by a Reunion Conference in October 2010 that reunites all past participants and faculty to disseminate findings, share lessons learned and strengthen participant change efforts.
